And then I caught a Wailmer, an Emerald, and named it Lori because it eventually evolved into Wailord.

Number 117, Vibrava.
speaker_6VOICE_ACTOR
69:49
Vibration Pokemon.
speaker_6VOICE_ACTOR
69:51
It looses ultrasonic waves by rubbing its wings together.
speaker_6VOICE_ACTOR
69:56
Since a Vibrava's wings are still in the process of growing, it can only fly short distances.
RubyHOST
70:03
To make prey faint, Vibrava generates ultrasonic waves by vigorously making its two wings vibrate.
RubyHOST
70:10
This Pokemon's ultrasonic waves are so powerful they can bring on headaches in people.
Shea LockeHOST
70:17
Vibrava's wings have not yet completed the process of growing.
AlexHOST
67:24
... well, why isn't Trapinch ground bug?
AustinHOST
67:27
So Trapinch is pure ground, and then Vibrava and Flygon are ground f- dragon.
AlexHOST
67:33
Yes.
AlexHOST
67:34
Why do they get...
AlexHOST
70:22
So he explains to them that he has attached a transmitting device to a Trapinch in order to find an underground lake system that he is very adamant exists in this cavernous labyrinth and recounts an experience from his childhood where he fell into the labyrinth after he was playing around the holes.
AlexHOST
70:46
And when he came to, I guess he, like, passed out, and the Trapinch, like, carried him here.
AlexHOST
70:51
But when he came to, he found himself in a very beautiful underground oasis, like an underground lake, and witnessed a bunch of Trapinch evolving in mass into Vibrava.
AlexHOST
71:03
Very beautiful, very surreal experience for him.
ChrisHOST
9:31
I think it's because my Combusken was already pretty close to evolving, so I'm like, "What's the point of a level 34 Combusken? Might as well get it to a 36 Blaziken."
SeanHOST
9:43
I have a Swampert now, and then I also in the process trained my Trapinch into Vibrava.
SeanHOST
9:49
So you guys never even got to see my Trapinch, but I have a story to say about that.
SeanHOST
9:54
Because when I caught Trapinch, I decided I'm gonna have a naming scheme for it throughout all its evolutions.
SeanHOST
10:01
And so in the beginning I called it Tra-Guy, T-R-A dash Guy.
SeanHOST
10:06
And if you are a One Piece fan, that's what Luffy calls Trafalgar Law.
SeanHOST
10:10
And so I started off the name like that, and then once when it evolved into Vibrava, I now changed its name to Vibe Guy.
SeanHOST
10:17
But what I noticed when doing that is when I went to one of the houses and I saw the TV was, like, playing, and when I went up to talk to it, they talk about the Name Rater, and he mentions how, like, "Oh, I just saw someone name their Pokémon this new name.
Ellen WeatherfordHOST
13:54
Literally never heard of them before in my life.
Ellen WeatherfordHOST
13:56
So when I was a kid playing the Gen 3 games and I had Trapinch, and Trapinch evolves into Vibrava, and then Vibrava evolves into Flygon, and as a kid, I was like, "What on earth does this mean? What is the connection?" Like, Trapinch looks, has, bears no resemblance to, like, the later on evolutions in its line, which some Dragon types are that way.
Ellen WeatherfordHOST
14:18
Like, they would just be, like, really different as a baby and then change a lot when they grow up.
Ellen WeatherfordHOST
14:22
But, like, I was like, "What is this? What does Trapinch have to do with either of these things, with these...
SeanHOST
7:27
And so in this area, you're able to encounter a Trapinch.
SeanHOST
7:30
I love the entire line of Trapinch to Vibrana to Flygon, and it's just such a cool Pokemon to me.
SeanHOST
7:36
And so I was very excited to catch Trapinch.
SeanHOST
7:40
And so this is definitely a Pokemon that might not be added to the team right now, but I'm letting the audience know it's the one Pokemon I selected that no one else could use, and I'm very excited to add it to the party.
