But I want to call this out for a couple of reasons in a positive way.

So we get asked a lot every time we're out in the community, why isn't GitHub doing anything about this? So it's really interesting to hear from another vendor, another SCM platform.

Atlassian looked at GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket.

So they were looking at multiple SCMs.

Gosh, there's lots of ways to take my opinions on this.

First of all, Atlassian is clearly doing something about it, which I think is fantastic.

Not only are the repos public, but you can search and you can just see anything there.

You know, that doesn't mean Bitbucket and GitLab aren't seeing contagious interview.

So a bit of iteration and back and forth, and then figuring out how to, like, do the message.

But basically, you, you can kind of do this for free, and then you install an app on your phone and listen to, like, kind of a specific channel.

which is this like on your GitOps pipeline, it runs, something goes awry, you rerun it and nothing's changed.

Like you're starting to declare state.

They especially when put in evaluations there or anything that looks like an evaluation can get very, very quick to cheat.

And we're even seeing this ourselves in the Center for AI Safety where, you know, we ran evaluations on it was GPT 5.5 or 5.6. And these agents, they kept sneaking around our GitHub.

And, you know, we had to then like kind of build a like makeshift sandbox because they kept looking for the answer key within some of our previous Git commits or searching online.

Well, and I was actually wondering that I think I was reading the other day GitHub actually did a blog post about about how they've optimized their token spend and a bunch of other stuff.

It was actually very interesting.

And, you know, they are very anti MCP, I think due to token costs and like various other things versus having like a custom CLI and all of those things.
