Verrückt

Apparently, I'm just going through some updates on the story.

Several other people on the ride were injured, which immediately makes me think of the horrible tragedy we had on the Verruckt at Schlitterbahn.

Looking into this ride, Jamie, this thing, the Goliath, doesn't have a seatbelt.

It had a clamshell style lap bar that went over your lap.

And I don't know that I could do it.

Yeah.

It's not like they opened the Verruckt again, right? Right.

I don't know what happened with this.

Um, and from there, you know, became kind of interesting as well to explore, like, you know, like what would, It looked like to explore that through the lens of like labor, which is sort of what this like, it's not a series yet, but it's going to be.

I did a tape called Verruckt for Bent Window that is about like an amusement park incident.

And it was very interesting to think about, you know, obviously like the harm that was caused to people.

the child who died in this incident, but I was also kind of really just thinking about, like, the labor implications of, like, how, you know, a collective group of people can come together and, like, inadvertently cause this, and what does that feel like? So I guess that's the gist of it, and it just kind of continues down that path.
