Verdugo Mountains

So perhaps you live in a city, and that's no big deal to you, and you're, you can walk without focusing on anything in particular, fine.

But for me, I live a block from the Verdugo Mountains here in Los Angeles, and it's so nice for me to go up there and walk through mountain trails, and it makes a huge difference for me.

But keep in mind, walking is a powerful, powerful tool.

In the book, I list tons of great artists, thinkers, philosophers, theologians, politicians, that w- walking was pivotal to what they did.

the West River.

The stretch where the river cuts between the Verdugo Mountains and Griffith Park, right where Glendale sits today, is called the Glendale Narrows, and the Tongva villages ringed it.

Hahamonga, up near the area of Seka, and Tahunga, up to the north.

Maunga and Winganga in the lowlands.
