Verbolten

We parked the van in the only available spot for a large vehicle out back, unloaded and entered the lobby, and were greeted by the most stereotypically jubilant German host at the front desk.

Surely he could have passed for Gunter from Verbolten at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, but rather than advising us to stay out of the dark forest, he advised us of a far more serious matter.

As our party of nine queued to check in, he proudly announced that the air conditioning is working perfectly, but as we may have noticed, it's quite warm this afternoon.

The ride that I was so impressed with, though, was Verbolten Forbidden Turn.

No, I went in, you know, not trying not to do a lot of like looking online at images and stuff.

And let's face it, like if you try to look at like YouTube videos of like any indoor roller coaster, you're not going to see much.

There's a big billboard there that says don't turn right.

But then there's an arrow.

pointing left but then it magically changes to right so the car changes right they even actually have some track there now that looks like you have the ability to veer off to the left but of course the Verbolten trains turn off to the right and they have done a lot first there's a big smoke screen that you fly into the event building with they've actually built up that bridge so it just doesn't look like a bridge floating in midair so that is pretty cool Then you go in and it used to just be a roller coaster in a black box that was dark.

And maybe you saw a couple lights here and there and stuff.
