Venom

This might be the other book that comes out every other week because I feel like I just mentioned 1003.

We have Uncanny X-Men, issue 39, Thor 803, Venom, issue 2, Alien vs. X-Men, issue 3, Spectacular Spider-Man, issue 6, The Amazing Venom, issue 3, Wolverine Paradise, issue 2, Gambit Gone, issue 3, Marvel Zombies, Warzone, issue 3, Spider-Man, Hulk, Fire and Brimstone, issue four.

Predator vs. the Planet of the Apes, issue five.

Star Wars, The Book of Boba Fett, issue six.

So I don't care about the other two.

Personally, I think I felt like Venom was kind of random.

I guess it was just like, oh, you know, we got to put Venom.

It's a greatest hits character, bro.

They're there.

team, right? Is it? That's the problem is that it starts off as a team where it's like weird takes on characters.

Dickhead Cyclops, like not Thor Thor, like Jane Thor.

So it's like, oh, Venom would have been Agent Venom.

I like the idea of Andrews having had this rage problem.

I mean, I always said he'd be perfect for Venom now, and they even lean into that.

You have someone?

I got no time.

bill, no tips, nothing.

What a waste.

Yeah, Venom in a Spider-Man movie, and that's the closest we got.

Remember how exciting it was in that Venom post-credit? Oh, it was insane.

Tony Stark, Iron Man versus...

Venom.

Ooh.

Now this is an interesting one.

So you've got Playboy billionaire Tony Stark in his Mark-whatever suit versus the ultimate symbiote, Venom.

What do you think, Jack?

Tony has fire and loud sonic noises, which are Venom's two weaknesses.

I don't believe there is a universe where Venom comes out on top unless Tony is using a very primitive armor or he gets caught off guard.

You get to fight

Venom, you get some of his classics in there.

I don't know.

And you get Miles and Gwen, so...

No, I get it.

All right.

You want to move on to Venom?

Yeah.

Yeah.

So basically, you know, it was fucking Venom.

So Miles is okay.

And Bruce and Tony are like, huh, I guess symbiote Trump's xenomorph, which is something you should remember.

noel predicted xenomorphs

thank god we don't get into fucking noel in this book but yeah uh carol helps miles up uh who is understandably shook up uh the symbiote facehugger goes onto his costume to make a sick new design and why not it like flattens out apparently because that's still a facehugger But it flattens out perfectly onto his spandex suit to make a cool dude design.

But it's a Venom now.

Well, yeah, that's

I do.

It is Agent Venom, Deadpool, Elektra, Ghost Rider, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Punisher, Red Hulk, Taskmaster, The Black Widow, and Winter Soldier Operative.

There are a couple long-range people.

I mean, what do you guys think about that breakdown? Steven, you were the one who brought it up.

It's like Cyclops's, but Cyclops is multiple per turn to different characters with a range band, range five.

This has no range band, but it's limited to once per turn.

No, I like Deadpool and Punisher a lot, and I like Agent Venom in this story.

It's

This is a book spinning out of everyone's favorite summer event, Queen of Black, where Mary Jane is free of the venom symbiote and is setting up as her new role as a producer.

But what's to get in her way? Well, good old chameleon, one of Sean's favorites.

hijinks ensue and we finally get to figure out what the hell the gift that Venom left her at the end of Queen of Black is this is by Ashley Allen who did the magic books which I enjoyed and also drawn by Phil Noto who was a pretty big get for this book so I will be checking this out

I saw some of the interiors in a preview I mean I'm a big fan of Phil Noto so I'm not surprised but it looked real good

This is a book you kind of have to show off on.
