Velvet Sky

Rhino is looking more and more like Flubber to me.

Uh, he is now in the ring here with Velvet Sky, which I didn't know...

Well, he just hip tossed her, so I guess this is man on woman violence.

Yeah.

Our last episode took place on October 2nd, 2008, and it featured the following matches.

Angelina Love defeated ODB in three minutes with the help of Velvet Sky, and, uh, Cute Kip was ringside as well.

ODB was not happy about that.

Went to Tracy Brooks, said, "Hey, I want my hands on The Beautiful People.

Okay.

Give me Velvet Sky from TNA.

[laughs] Yeah.

See that coming.

...

I'll, I'll put it on the list.

Uh, B, you have no proof that the character of Velvet Sky during that time period was not a...

I mean, she was, there's a mean girl, yeah, but virginal, she never had any sort of relations of anything inside the ring that we know of, right? There's no story arc of her and any guy, right? Just saying.

Um, I also remember everybody has a wrestling crush when they were younger, obviously, as we're all fans.

But I can remember Kelly Kelly being one, Kaitlyn, um, who else? Velvet Sky from TNA, who Silas Zane has a pretty good interaction with, I think we've told before.

That was, yeah.

I gotta go, I gotta go Tori Wilson, man.

Watching live, I was like, oh, it's the beautiful people who gives a shit.

But I've gained a big appreciation for Angelina Love and Velvet Sky.

I think they just they committed to their role so well.

They like dominate the knockouts division from a character perspective.

Angelina

Love, you know.

little bit better than velvet sky probably but

um i think they played their roles very well and you know not a lot of stakes in this match specifically but i love all the parts in here um even moose even moose knuckles there we go that should have been her name i think it was

And it was like, you know, you kind of got to step on people to get to the top, not from the women that I came up with it.

Like, you know, the Angelina loves and the Talia's and the, or Velvet Sky, sorry, ODB, Gail, but the people that came before that, it made everybody a little bit more like tighter and like held everything a little closer to their chest.

And I don't know if those conversations would have been had with the writers.

So that's just a true testament to the amazing community and locker room that you and all the other knockouts had built.

time.

Then the main event, before the big angle at the end of the show... was Rhino teaming with knockout champion Taylor Wilde to defeat Cute Kip and Velvet Sky in 4 minutes and 13 seconds.

Kind of an interesting show match-wise, but it was pretty angle-heavy.

I believe Samoa Joe kicked off the show.

Um, consequence, that's, we already, that doesn't say how it won, so it doesn't matter.

Um, so in the knockouts title match, so Taylor Wilde pinned Angelina Love, uh, Brooks ended up helping Wilde because she was tired of Velvet Sky interfering.

So that was kind of a little, little cheap win.

That's okay.
