Uh, Vanta stands for vertically aligned nanotube arrays, which absorbs 99.9% of visible light.

I was amazed to hear that the patent holder, Surrey NanoSystems, did indeed grant Anish Kapoor exclusive rights to use Vantablack in his art.

I find this very interesting.

And then another artist came along and was like, well, that's not fair.
