But go ahead, John, what do you got? Okay, my four is almost the polar opposite of this song, a song that musically you kind of can't deny, but lyrically was horrendous.

And that is Vanessa Carlton's A Thousand Miles.

It's, I mean, you immediately, that piano has almost become a meme at this point, right? When you hear it, like just about everybody, you know, It's so iconic in some way.

In some ways.

or the piano I said it's hard she's really talented she's in the back of a she's in the back of a movie she's really rocking out the accordion in that video is supposed to convey the whole thousand miles motif I think is what's going on there um the lyrics are very like 15 year olds Diary so I can't like co-sign them which is what moves it down at number four but uh it's just funny to have two songs that like exist in the same lane right like radio friendly um pop songs, right? And then I feel like we're having a lot of these.

We had Leigh-Anne Rimes last week, and then Michelle Branch the week before, and Christina Aguilera before that, Pink, right? So we're getting a lot of these female artists who are coming with different lanes, which is awesome to get a variety of things.

I think for me, it just kind of came down to the fact that the whole meme-ness and, you know, put your smile on your face was from the music of Vanessa Carlton.

I think it's a more pleasant, a little bit more complex musically for me.

I remember a very tangible moment was we, so we met January of 2021.

That's when we started singing together, posting in stairwells, and then we went home for the summer, got back to campus in the fall, and we posted our cover of, I think, A Thousand Miles by Vanessa Carlton.

Mm-hmm.

And Joe Jonas saw it and it kind of went kind of viral-ish on TikTok.

I mean, listen, if Singing in My Sleep was the hit, this would have been my number one.
