And the last one is one of my favorites, and it is because it's so highly testable, and it is vancomycin.

Vancomycin is used for MRSA.

With methicillin-resistant Staph aureus.

Methicillin-resistant, methicillin sounds like a drug we just talked about, Dr.

It's a penicillin.

But now you're telling me that Staph aureus, this bug that is part of our normal flora, is resistant to methicillin, so I can't give them methicillin.

So what drug am I gonna give them instead? Vancomycin.

Ceftriaxone.

Vancomycin and ceftriaxone.
