Van Jones

I've had Sarah Hurwitz on twice, love her framing.

Van Jones is someone I always learn from every time I speak to him.

I'm learning new things.

He, again, like, didn't change my mind, but he, he's really given me a lot of perspective on how the Black community sees the Jewish community, which a lot of Jews are sort of guessing at instead of, you know, having a, a Black ally who could say, "Hey, here's what we're thinking and seeing." So I've really appreciated the, the enlightenment that I, that I've gotten from him and continue to get from him.

Or you have someone like and that foreign actor thing is played into it.

Like you have the episode of Van Jones.

making that horrific joke about dead Gaza babies, because apparently that's funny to him.

But the idea that what he was trying to argue is that it's actually this nefarious group of Qatari and Iranian foreign actors that are trying to create a false narrative online, when in reality, all people are seeing is raw footage.

Cory Booker, he took some money.

Van Jones, he took some money.

Okay, first let's win.

Then after that, we clean our own house, which is no AIPAC money.

She's only in it for herself now that she's lost this election.

She's completely abandoned any obligatory responsibilities to the Democratic Party, to the down-ballot elections, that she's really only campaigning to make herself into more of a public figure, right? And then I've seen another content creator, I can't remember his name, said that He pushed back against that and said her bringing out Van Jones, who is a Texas representative who is HIV positive and of the LGBTQI community, that that was bringing attention to the down ballot elections and her amplifying other people from the party.

Now, I don't live in Texas.

I don't really have.

I was sitting on the set at CNN on Inauguration Day last year, and the president said, we're going to have a revolution of common sense.

And I turned to Van Jones, and I said, that'd be a great name for a book.

And he said, please don't.

So I called a publisher and pitched him my idea.

I thought it was called SHRM, but I've learned something today.

I saw that they did a discussion session, I think with Van Jones, I think, the commentator, media commentator.

I've never actually seen it, but I thought, wow, that's pretty punchy to even host that.

And I saw some of the response to it on LinkedIn.
