I think we can both agree that interview with Vampire did the mother incest better yes 100% 100%

and they made it not pointless somehow

Yeah, I wouldn't say it was pointless.

Again, I think it serves a dramatic purpose, but it is not as central to the story as it was for the vampire Lestat, obviously.

And now the day has waned and it is nine o'clock in the evening, with faint streaks of light still in the sky.

But then that movie is, I mean, I haven't seen it since I was in high school probably, but my memory of it is very bleak and very unfun, except for Sean Penn screaming in agony.

Yeah, and there's also the part where Tim Robbins goes, Vampires.

His Vampire Master, the first one that he embraced, so to speak, if we're using Vampire the Masquerade terminology, the first vampire following Woden the Hangman, is known as Baldur's Ghost.

He claims to be the god Baldur, having risen from the dead, which is clever, because his skin is very pale, and so this kind of explains away a few things.

Doesn't explain why he can't be in the sunlight, but, you know, Romania, they get a lot of clouds, so...
