Vampire Counts

And so that's the rule system I used, and it uses the fourth edition armies.

You get the vampire counts, and that's a different story.

And I prefer the fourth edition book with the fifth edition rule set.

So very niche there.

So yeah, I kind of think like if you've got your niche rule set that you like, I'm sure you can find players.

I mean, I had to travel down to Wellington, which is halfway down the country to do it, but it's so worth it.

And yeah, so fifth edition rules, I had to play vampire counts because that's how the tournament rules worked.

You had to take... more recent army books so you couldn't take the older chaos army or anything like that um and yeah the the vampire counts are very very strong um there's ways around movement as well i think there's an item that's like a must take it's the uh uh something of sorcery gives them an extra I think it's Arkhan's book and it lets them he lets the cast Van Hal's Dance Macabre in a 36 inch bubble every turn for free right so you get through a lot of your movement problems with that

I've been reading that book and I have been enjoying these stories.

quite a lot I am really enjoying Lovecraft's writing style very eloquent he uses some words that I have to pause my reading and look up and that's cool because then I learn new words and that sometimes takes me down a rabbit trail and I forget to finish the story that I was reading as you know how these things go So I thought for a Halloween episode I could maybe do some stories from the Vampire Counts or Undead books.

But I think most of these have already been done by one or the other for Halloween episodes or regularly on the podcast.

And I wanted to do something different.

So we picked that one.

I do admit, but like the whole aesthetic of the Tomb Kings, like considering how old they are, because they're probably older than vampire counts yet.

Vampires are always like old and rusted a bit.

Whilst Tomb Kings seem to be squeaky clean.

The Legacy player for the, the team Italy was actually Chaos Dwarves.

Uh, as, as well as Va- and of course everyone else used Vampire Counts, 'cause Vampire Counts are overpowered.

They have Vampire Counts, uh, Beastmen.

Mm-hmm.

Yeah.
