And I was looking for a way to do that, and I attended an American Bar Association law practice management seminar, and they talked about alternative billing methods, and they talked about something called value pricing.

And value pricing, to put it in a familiar word, is just flat fees.

They mentioned a book called Value Pricing by a an author of CPA in California named Ron Baker.

Well, I got the book, and it's 600 pages long, which makes it about four times longer than any book I've ever read.

I'm good for 100 pages usually.

So I called Ron and we talked for two or three hours.

And I mean, he's an amazing man and a big advocate of moving away from the billable hour.
