Valley Dale Ballroom

Fun, fun, fun.

It is always that way when we have Lada and Rick in from the Valleydale.

I feel like there's so much to talk to you guys this time.

We missed last month together.

I know.

So much has happened at Valleydale, but so much has happened with Rick's health, getting better, getting stronger every day with his sight.

And he had another debut at the Italian Festival.

Londa, where do you want to begin? Let me spill water everywhere.

This legendary venue, uh, where, you know, I think Sinatra played there in the '40s or '50s.

And, uh, this place called Valley Dale out on the East Side.

Oh.

And it might still be going, but, uh, we played out there.

Uh, actually I watched this, uh, Velvet Underground- ... documentary, and in the credits, I noticed that they had played, uh, a performance, a live performance of The Velvet Underground from Valley Dale.

Wow.

Uh, so it's, you know, a pretty cool venue, and a nice size, a beautiful stage, and, uh, and in this old and venerated place.
