Valle de Bravo

¿A dónde vas generalmente desde la ciudad?

Bueno, si tengo todo el fin de semana, voy a Valle de Bravo, si quiero ver el lago y caminar tranquilo por la montaña.

Es superbonito.

A veces voy al Nevado de Toluca, si quiero algo más exigente, caminar mucho más.

I am used to riding at night on all kinds of roads, so for a long time I thought the worst thing that could happen to me was getting a flat tire or having to deal with an angry customer.

But one night, while I was making a delivery along the highway toward Valle de Bravo, I encountered something that made me question whether everything we see truly belongs to this world.

What began as an ordinary order to a cabin outside the city ended up becoming a nightmare that put my life in danger.

I never imagined that by accepting that delivery, I would end up face to face with something that should not exist in this world.

It was around 10 at night when the app assigned me an order for a cabin located along the Mexico Valle de Bravo Highway, a wooded area filled with sharp curves and very little lighting.

The bag of food was small.

I tied it to the motorcycle and left without thinking much about it.

It was as though something were anchoring it to the ground.

He had just come back to Mexico City.

And he went for a weekend trip with his then wife to Valle de Bravo, which is this lovely place.

And they took a day tour on a boat.

And he was just sitting there talking.

One is in Cancun as well, in the south of Mexico, which also has this slanted... element.

And then the house he did for himself in Valle de Bravo, which is this small town like two hours away from Mexico City, is really a very strong precedent for the Ixtapa Hotel.

It really has a sort of a wooden shingle roof that exactly kind of copies, but also makes a geometric version of the slope underneath it.

And it's a very beautiful, very beautiful project.
