So, Bonnie Franklin starred as divorced mother Anne Romano, who moves herself and her teenage daughters, the rebellious older Julie, played by Mackenzie Phillips, and the level-headed, wisecracking younger sister Barbara, played by Valerie Bertinelli, from their home in small-town Logansport, Indiana, to big capital city Indianapolis.

until they got the the strike handled so Valerie's family was from Shreveport they lived in Shreveport I think they were from there but she was home visiting her family because she wasn't working at the time and then Van Halen was coming through town and her dad I believe it was her dad that called my dad up at the radio station and said hey you know my sons want to go see this band Van Halen and I guess my daughter wants to go too kind of thing and my dad was and he was like you know Can you help them get tickets? And by the way, can you be responsible for my kids? So anyways, he took them and he got them backstage.

You guys always get to come back and meet the band and say hi to the band.

And he got them backstage and kind of facilitated the very first meeting between Eddie Van Halen and Valerie Bertinelli.

And then the next night or a couple nights later, they were playing in Monroe, Louisiana, and they went to that show.
