Some of it is, is legal change, the creation of super PACs.

Uh, but even the, the seeds for super PACs, which are independent groups that can raise unlimited sums from individuals, corporations, and unions, even the seeds for that were planted in a 1976 case called Buckley versus Valeo.

But something has changed psychologically on the part of big donors in that they're no longer shy about putting their money into elections.

And so just to give you some statistics, the first donor who gave at least $100 million to groups in a federal election, uh, was Sheldon Adelson back in, in 2018.

Obviously, he's a prominent club player.

He played for Valeo last season.

Valeo's a, a club that struggled in the MLS Next kind of scene over, you know, the last several years, but every kind of opposing club coach, every opposing club coach is like, "Valeo struggles, but that kid, Benjamin Diaz, is freaking incredible." And he was ranked, I wanna say he was sixth in our 2028 ranking.

He's actually a sophomore now.
