Um, just before we start, we've had a, a little bit of news come in, uh, today with regards to, um, ex-Vale player Doug Loft, um, who has sadly passed away today at the age of just 39.

He joined Port Vale in 2009, spent five seasons at Vale Park.

He made 196 appearances in all competitions, was named their Player of the Year 2012.

Uh, he helped them win promotion to League One in 2013, and he played, he played at midfield but could also fill in at left back.

We haven't really seen any of that really yet this season.

Um, I mean, Adam, you were one of the 1,122 traveling Town fans at Vale Park yesterday.

Uh, did it feel as worrying from the stands as it did for those watching back at home on TV maybe?

But at Vale Park, one of the things that's very different is the size of the place.

The, the pitch is an enormously wide pitch that really ought to suit Chesterfield.
