Val Thorens

So there's a really, um, big community of, of winter sport lovers, I would say.

Apart from Dutch week in, uh, Val Thorens, you definitely see a lot of cars with, uh, with Dutch and Belgium plates.

I mentioned before, and I think this, we got a sense of this because of your background before you came to Snow World.

But the way the sites are set up in Europe are slightly different from the UK.

Uh, actually it was in Chamonix.

It was actually the week after the Snow Camp AJ Bell Rally that where we'd been to Val Thorens, and I just tagged on a last few days where I had that joy of mountain biking in the morn- uh, sorry, skiing in the morning and mountain biking in the afternoon, 'cause you're in that mixed season where it's too slushy in the afternoon, but it's glorious in the morning.

So that was me in April, uh, um, this year.

Well, I was actually out in Chamonix at the same time.

It looks like it's gonna be on, uh, snow indoor, which we'll come to later on in the show.

But Morv, what about yourself? When were you last on snow?

I have been on an indoor slope in the last week, but my last time in a resort was in Val Thorens, where Laura was, at the AJ Bell Three Valley Rally at the end of April, um, the fundraiser for Snow Camp, so.

Well, I mean, we've talked about the AJ Bell Three Valley Rally, uh, several times on the show before, but I know it is extremely significant in terms of fundraising for Snow Camp.
