Val Badia

It all started back in 2015 with a simple and slightly crazy idea.

Jared Gruber and Igor Tavella were riding some of the tiny farm roads, tracks and paths around the Badia Valley, away from the traffic of the famous Dolomite Passes, when Jared had an idea.

What if you could create a route that packed as much climbing as possible into the shortest distance? The answer became the Dolomites 5000, roughly 120 kilometers and around 5000 meters of climbing, taking riders over some of the most beautiful and brutal steep roads and gravel tracks in the heart of the Dolomites.

But there's something important about Jolomites.

We'll get into that, how people actually can sign up or get the special invitation here a little later.
