Val Air Ballroom

I'll ring a bell here.

Over the weekend, Keanu Reeves and his alt-rock band Dogstar performed at the Val Air Ballroom.

This is our friend Reece Strickland's photo here.

You know, he's really good at concert photos, too.

It just says, I'm beyond pissed at this point.

I'm beyond pissed off at this point.

The Val Air Ballroom refused to let us in tonight.

Keanu's security team told the Val Air Ballroom not to let us into the concert.

Speaking of that Democratic ticket, Rob Sand wrapped up his 100 town hall tour last week with events in Blackhawk, Scott and Polk counties.

An estimated 1,800 people showed up for the final event at the Val Air Ballroom that's located in West Des Moines.

We mentioned way back in June when this schedule came out that Rob Sam was saving most of the big counties for after Labor Day, just when more people are paying attention.

And he got big turnout.
