So today, I want to do a follow-up episode about Vaibhav Duggal.

He's the third-year medical student who died by suicide last July after his institution essentially took him out of clinical duties and were initiating an investigation around a patient complaint.

A patient had lodged a complaint about him when he rotated through the OBGYN clinic.

So let me just quickly go over the events so that you have a good timeline, and then I'm gonna offer you some more insight based on a conversation that I had with Shari Oldfield, who was the director of all of the APPs in the OBGYN clinic, and she has some insight into what the culture was like at that time.

And this is through her lens, so it's, you know, skewed towards her bias, but I think it, it does add a little bit more information as to what was happening and what it's like at Texas Tech El Paso.
