That's not to be confused with, um, Estring.

Femring is a systemic estrogen vaginal ring-

Um, you can use progesterone for all kinds of other things if you want to, but we, there is no reason that you have to give progesterone to protect the uterine lining.

And then there's more permanent methods like the tubal ligation surgery or for a partner of vasectomy.

Tier two, this would include the DepoShot, the combined hormonal contraceptive pills, the patch or the NuvaRing.

Tier three would be condoms.

the diaphragm, sponge, spermicide, or vaginal gel.

But a lot of times, it does not.

So that Estring is different than Femring, and Femring is local and systemic estrogen for the whole body for three months.

But in my experience, it doesn't always quite last three months, so I haven't been a fan of it.

But we've been kind of forced to use more of that lately because of the patch shortage.
