Well, Vaatu don't have.

Now, I will say this.

I will say season two of Korra might be my least favorite season of Avatar, but I loved I love the stuff with Wan.

Like, all the stuff with Rava and Vaatu.

And as soon as she had her Susanoo and she did that crazy stuff she did to Unavaatu, I was like, he's coming back.

Like, why did you kill him? He has to come back.

So now the question is, mechanically, how does that work? And now that brings up beginnings, and this is all people are talking about in the small Seven Haven speculation community.

Is one of them Brava and one of them is Vaatu? How can both twins bend all four elements? One of the prevailing theories is that actually Nisha is the Vaatu reincarnation of the Avatar.

because we do see at the end of the book two finale, it's kind of unresolved.

Vaatu goes, Unavaatu is dissolved, but Vaatu is going to come back at some point.

And so it doesn't, we don't, we don't see that followed up on.

So that could be what they have in mind here that actually we're going to really do Dark Avatar now.

Then there's been a secret second avatar the whole time.

Anyway, I think this is the time to talk about all this because it's very relevant for everything that happens in book two.

I will say, even though, I mean, both of the main villains are more one-note, I will say that Vaatu is at least more, like, I guess, memorable than Unalaq.

Yeah.

But...

This is one of the storylines that feels like it's really built up, but then doesn't quite go anywhere, I guess.

So Unalaq gets deposed at the end, Vaatu is defeated, yadda yadda.

There's not a lot of talk about how much of the North seemed perfectly willing to go along with this civil war.

Unalaq wanted that.

But it's surrounded by all this nonsensical, crazy stuff

makes it too complicated.

We were like, why couldn't we have just had a dark avatar with Vaatu and Just an elemental battle.
