UWF Heavyweight Championship

The Road Warriors worked a lot better than the Blade Runners at this time, I will say that.

In May of 86, Blade Runner Rock entered a tournament for the newly created UWF Heavyweight Championship, but he was eliminated by Ted DiBiase in the first round.

On June 14th at the Superdome extravaganza event in the Louisiana Superdome, the Blade Runners would lose to the Fabulous Freebirds, and then Warrior would subsequently leave the UWF, disbanding the Blade Runners.

Now, Jim Ross went on that self-destruction DVD and stated that Warrior thought the Superdome promotion was too physically intense and that he would eventually go down to WCCW and become the Dingo Warrior.
