And I love southern Utah.

I hadn't been to Zion, but I'd been to... um you know moab arches canyon lands capital reef it's so beautiful my husbands are actually originally from salt lake and so um you know we've had some great trips down there i just have a lot of really fun it just it fun experiences in southern utah so it was like like let's look for races there And I mentioned in the last podcast, so my husband, he's a musician, he's a trombonist, and he has the opportunity to play with the Utah Symphony a bunch in April.

So he was there rehearsing with them and played some concerts.

And I was like, oh, this is perfect.

What about Abravanel Hall? What are they doing to that?

So at Bravendale Hall, as you may remember back in 2024 when this legislation sort of originally passed and this idea really started coming into life, there was a real concern from the musicians and the organizers of Utah Symphony, Utah Opera, which mainly performs there, along with a host of other performers.

But there was some real concern that Abravno Hall could be lost, this historic mid-century concert hall that is in need of some upgrades and many Many folks knew that it was in need of some upgrades, but were worried that those needed upgrades would be pretext for tearing it down.

In fact, what's going to happen is that there is going to be some back of house renovations to Abravno Hall, to those practice spaces, to office spaces, and that's going to allow the hall to be a little bit more oriented, a little bit more of a part of this overall project.

But it will still stand.

It will still be there.

It will still be the home of Utah Symphony at Utah Opera.

There will be a new concert venue, apparently.

Well, like six months later, I got a phone call from the Utah Symphony, "Hey, we're doing this movie, La La Land." And my first thought was, "Oh, my gosh.

How's that cadenza work with a click track?" Well, I'm doing it again.
