Utah State Route 150

Can you explain [laughs] the, uh, hand ignition procedure here?

Yeah, so we've got a watershed restoration project that we are implementing on the West Fork of the Duchesne, which is, yeah, a little different than what probably a lot of folks have seen on, along the Mirror Lake Highway, which is pile burning.

So yeah, the, the intent is really to Create resiliency, improve c- stand conditions, especially targeting the, uh, aspen in that area so that we have less risk for wildfire, severe wildfire-

Yeah

It's expected to be completed in 2028.

Crews in the Heber Camas Ranger District will continue with a prescribed burn along the Mirror Lake Highway.

The fire will be mostly between Pass Lake and the Highline Trailhead.

Operations will start back up tomorrow.
