Which is a compassionate, conservative approach to immigration policy, at least as much as a state can write it, because immigration, of course, overall is a is a federal issue.

I mean, I, at some point I was thinking about the fact that I would go to school and, you know, be in my department and I had the role of education to learning outcomes liaison, where I had to m- make metrics that reported student learning successes to report to the Utah State Legislature, and this was like the worst part of my life, right? Like this...

It was any metric that would count for a legislature about what a good philosophy education was is just pure rampant bullshit.

And then I would go home and I would complain about these metrics, and then I would go home, and for fun, Mel and I would pick up a board game and adopt a clearly specified ranking system for fun in my spare time.

A committee met today to discuss, or I guess yesterday, to discuss Utah Medicaid's program deficit, potentially 200 million bucks.

On Wednesday afternoon, the Utah Legislature's Health and Human Services Interim Committee, among the topics discussed was the financial shortfalls within the Medicaid program here in Utah.

Don't we have a big surplus here? We do.

We have a big rainy day fund.
