Publisher Chris Todd insists that the book really is Porter's words, that he was given a flash drive containing not only the Kim Porter diary, but the damning videos she was supposedly collecting.

In this Art of the Dialogue interview, Todd comes off as defensive when asked about the drive.

According to you, you have the flash drive.

On that note, nobody has seen the flash drive.

Well, that's not true.

I mean, publicly where they can verify.

Publicly, there's multiple people who've seen the flash drive.

People had cameras and all that.

What I came up with, which was a big thing at the time, a USB stick, which was a big thing at the time.

I was thinking everybody was going into laptops.

So I was thinking, if you could take your pictures, everyone's going into digital and then put it onto your USB stick.

I thought, I came up with the idea and they said, yeah, we like this guy.

So it's like, I even had like, I'm very creative.

So we'll see what Danny is doing next season.

But his gift to Alice as Nora called it to Ed is the flash drive.

So it's all about the flash drive.

Now she ends up giving it to Nora.

and tells her about the video.

Keyboard Tastator The pointing device you use to navigate the screen is called a mouse.

Mouse Mouse A small flash memory stick that plugs into a USB port for portable storage is a USB drive.

USB Drive USB Loftwork A larger storage device you connect via USB or other ports for backup is an external hard drive.

External Hard Drive Externer Hard Disk A group of computers and devices connected together to share resources is a network.

Network The device that directs internet traffic between your home network and the outside world is a router.

So just another valuable lesson, cloaked in this dialogue but it cuts to Ed and Nora in the elevator and this was another one of my absolute favorite scenes like are you even kidding me Nora's like oh hey you know Alice and Danny are super close and he gave her this gift that he asked me And he gave her this gift and she gave it to me to keep safe, you know, once she's now returned to work.

Oh, I think it was a flash drive.

I'm not really like a computer person or anything.

And then she moves into, hey, Ed, how come we've never done it before? I think it would have been weird, but fun.

And I'm not sure exactly how much time has passed, et cetera, or if Nora is just going to go disclose that it's there.

So I'm just going to assume that it was because of the way that she handled the entry into the Easton house and how she dealt with Catherine.

And I also wonder with the flash drive of it all, again, is Nora setting up Alice to go on this vigilante spree, knowing that when she watches it, she's probably going to look more into the details of it all.

And this is Nora's way of saying, look, it's okay.

This is the first time I've ever taught this the way that I'm teaching it now, so we don't have a conference or any other thing.

We have these teachings that are taken directly from the TV programs, and then we have a USB that will have the audio and the video on it.

And I'll give out that information again at the end of the program, and I encourage you to please take advantage of it.
