USA Up All Night

So [laughs] he was, he was doing God's work.

Where do you stand on Rhonda Shear and USA Up All Night? Is that kind of the same thing?

It was...

You know, it's, uh, I think it was a variation, but I wouldn't call it a horror-hosted show.

The only reason I know about this song is because Nightstick appears in the end credits of a 1988 teen comedy called Hot Splash.

I watched this movie earlier this summer when I was binging old VHS rips of USA Up All Night.

And now back to Hot Splash on USA Up All Night.

Thank you, Gilbert Gottfried.

Anyway, after watching Hot Splash, I learned that the B-side of Nightstick was a song called Body Chemistry.

What is the first, like, what was your first encounter with Linnea Quigley? What was the first movie that you saw her in, or how did you kind of become a super fan?

Yeah, I was watching USA Up All Night, as I was known to do at age 12.

I was, like I said, I was a very, I had no friends.

My life was spent renting movies and watching USA.

Like, USA Up All Night, Fridays and Saturdays was my jam, you know?

So...

And no one to share it with.

It's motivational.

You know, I've seen this movie before.

This was a classic USA Up All Night movie because it's rubber monsters that look like frogs.

Yeah.

[laughs] Yeah.

And this obviously, like, this total, like-

Was not good

... schlocky B-movie, uh, USA Up All Night-

Yeah

Come back here.

I wonder if this was ever on USA Up All Night, 'cause this seems like something that you would see then.

I feel like it would be.

It was made for that.

I feel like it's a high bar.

I feel like it's more like USA Up All Night, but, you know-

Yeah

...

I recall it airing on cable back in the '90s and early 2000s and watching, you know, parts of it on, on late night.

Probably something like USA Up All Night, but I'm not sure where exactly it was airing.

Maybe it aired on Sci-Fi Channel as well.

Uh, you know, it fits a number of those molds.

I looked up things that she did after this movie, and holy shit, she worked a lot.

She was on USA Up All Night.

She was on an episode of Beetleborgs, Power Rangers Turbo.

Beetleborgs.
