USA Archery

That's the wrong thing to do.

You might wanna go into Bowhunter, and kids, like for USA Archery tournaments and stuff like that, there are so many different divisions.

So you have pins, you have open, you have u- unlimited, you have a...

And then there's different age division with the kids.

It doesn't make a difference at Vegas either.

You can have whatever weight you want.

But USA Archery, they're gonna check your weight, and it's gotta be 60 pounds or lower.

Yeah.

What'd you go into next?

Um, I went into JOAD, so that's the Junior Olympic Archery Development program from USA Archery.

Um, I joined that program at High Tines, and basically we would just go down there every week, shoot our bows, get coached.

Um, we'd have little friendly competitions.

So obviously, a lot of event coverage with me.

So this summer he was out there sweating with me at USA Archery, getting everything set up.

Oh, okay.

Helping with the, the rodeo, roller sports, everything that had to happen.

... outside of just, like, you know, football, basketball.

Like, the really popular, um, events that have been going on this past year in Lincoln and Nebraska as a whole.

So, I mean, you could probably see my facial expression when Derek mentioned USA Archery.

That was, that was a heater right there in the summer-

Again, we're coaching them, and we go by NASP rules.

But we just dipped our toes into the USA Archery and expanded on the adult side for USA Archery.

And so we don't currently have equipment on the USA Archery to support that team.

But, you know,

we'll get there.

That's no small feat, especially USA Archery, where they're not letting you use a light on your side of any kind.
