Urbie Green

Then we're going to go to another, uh, Bethlehem session, or to a Bethlehem session I should say, done in New York in December of 1954.

And this is Jonah Jones on trumpet with Urbie Green on trombone, uh, done at the beginning of his career, George Clark on tenor sax, Kenny Kersey on piano, Milt Hinton on bass, and Osie Johnson on drums.

And the two tunes we're gonna hear to wind up that set are Wrap Your Troubles in Dreams and You're the Cream in My Coffee.

So two interesting bands.

And we heard, uh, Wrap Your Troubles in Dreams and You're the Cream in My Coffee.

Some nifty little arrangements there, and indeed there was a Jonah Jones vocal on Wrap Your Troubles in Dreams, along with his fine trumpet playing.

Urbie Green on trombone, George Clark on tenor, Kenny Kersey on piano, Milt Hinton on bass, and Ossie Johnson on drums.

We're going to finish off that session to finish off the program.
