But what happens is there's a high potential of a negative effect, and that is having health issues with the food because we're going against nature.

And this is what I love about our backyard chickens and having our backyard coop is we go back to the way our grandparents used to raise food.

And one of the things I'm trying to always tell people is, and you just hit on it a little bit, is You can either have the choice to go to the grocery stores and buy the big box sweatshop eggs or take control and have something like Backyard Chickens where you can go out and get your own food, not to mention how fun it can be.

Raising chickens is not for the faint of heart.

It's a lot more involved and a lot more, frankly, expensive than I thought.
