We can look at the literature of wider Mesopotamia.

The moment I'm very interested in the Urartian stories carried in the carvings and inscriptions of the Armenian highlands.

We also have literature that bridges the Mesopotamian with the biblical.

We have that in Ugaritic literature, in the Book of Enoch, and the Book of Job.

But one of the reasons I love going to the Urartian sites, why I love taking people with me on ancient knowledge tours, is that the stories told in the Iron Age by the Urartian people are at the other end of the spectrum they are at the optimistic end of the spectrum saying contact with these beings was very positive it enabled a massive leap forward into agricultural science it took our standard of living from here to here and we long for the dingy to return for more technology sharing to advance the human experience further Now, they're not the only people to remember contact in that way.
