I've never used it and I have never had a reason to and I can't imagine I ever will.

Yeah, I think Uphold is fine if it works well for you, but there are a lot of limitations that crypto users encounter as they try to go deeper into DeFi or self-custody.

For example, they have really restrictive transaction and payment limits, also withdrawal limits.

Whether you're trying to withdraw crypto, there are only certain types of tokens you can withdraw from their platform.

I would say I don't recommend them over crypto native exchanges like Coinbase, like Kraken, like Binance.

And if you're comfortable using Uphold, like you like the way it looks, the way it feels, then that would be my recommendation for your next step is that you try Coinbase, check it out, create a profile for free, and then see about transferring your assets over.
