Upfront

Only what I've read.

So the Upfronts were in Sydney last week.

I couldn't make it because I had the graduation, but I'll be in Melbourne for Melbourne edition of the Upfronts on Thursday.

It'll be good to catch up with everyone.

But I saw Will Pakowski and Zan McGuire is going to be hosting.

Yes, 100%.

The other thing you touched upon, and it does feel like a regular update to me, certainly from the Seven Upfronts, an update of Phoenix.

And I can't quite put my finger on when Phoenix started being something that was coming to something that's here and being updated.

You, I mean, you would have dealt with Phoenix in your previous life with Seven before you went away to Mamma Mia and came back.

Last night at the Upper Fronter.

For anyone that doesn't know what the Upfronts are, it's basically when us and Channel 7, since we've merged.

Jesus.

Talk about how exciting we are, how excited it is, how exciting the plan is for next year.

Yep.

They do a thing called Upfronts.

Now, in the TV game, they do it in radio as well, but it's a sort of half TV, half radio.

It's a company thing where you put all your ace cards in and you present to potential clients and media for next year, for 2027.

This is when I was on MADtv.

Now, back when I was on MADtv, right, we had this thing called the Upfronts.

Oh, yeah.

You know what that is? Yeah.

For those of you that don't know what the Upfronts is, back then when you were on a network show, every year they would send all the networks would send all their shows to New York.

Right.

So we, and every night was a different night.

We, we went to Vegas.

We went to the Upfronts.

I was pregnant, eating at a roadkill festival and-

Yeah

... would be best case scenario for me.

It's also the Barstool Upfronts Wednesday night, which we are, uh, going to be attending, and there is certain programming that's happening through the night that I am involved in.

And I was like, "Oh my God, if this goes all the way to the end of the day," like, I have to show up at, I have to show up basically in full glam.

[laughs]

Yeah.

Like, I have to show up in full-

Well, well, what time do the Upfronts start?

... makeup for all day to sit there because it, worst case, if I am there and cannot get out until late, I have to go straight to the Upfronts and be, like-

[laughs]

Well, A, I, I'm pretty sure I saw him behind the blur, and B, he was at the Australian Upfronts, and why would he be at the Upfronts for a season that he's not in? [laughs] So Sneed is there.

Obviously something's going on with him.

He's not head surgeon anymore.
