Upāsaka

Let's remind ourselves how very fortunate we are to be in receipt with these teachings, and with immense gratitude, let's chant for the merits of the Bhikshu Bhikshunis.

Upasakas and Upasakas, who since time immemorial have protected and preserved the sublime Jñīna Buddha, and passed down through the generations of a known lineage in the form of the Tripitaka, which is thankfully available to us today to study, to understand and comprehend the Dhamma.

Let us also take one last chance to submit the merits to all the members of the Mahā-saṅga present throughout the world, including all chief pilots of all the Chapters, who have dedicated their lives to a known path and committed themselves to betterment of all sentient beings.

Let us not forget among them will be the monks and nuns, residing in local temples and nunneries, who have always been by your side, the thick and thin, coming to shine.
