Did anybody ever read the book Up From Eden? Yeah, I would definitely.

Pardon? Yeah, I would definitely.

[laughs] The thesis is, of Up From Eden is that-

It's only saying that that part of evolution which generates anxiety, craving, and jealousy, the three poisons, is what causes suffering.

Obviously, the Buddha starts doing.

And then the book Up From Eden, proposition that human consciousness is developing, growing for some sort of reason.

Whoever we call the Buddha, then there was the Buddha, then there was Christ, and then there was Muhammad, and then there was Hakuin, and then whatever.
