Godzilla x Kong: Supernova

Yeah

... th- th- this actually all ties into the new Godzilla Kong Supernova movie.

[laughs]

Oh, I didn't think it was Kong.

I also have questions.

Speaking of Godzilla, they just announced the newest Godzilla movie, like Godzilla Supernova or whatever, hired an intimacy coordinator.

And I'm like, what? What? I have so many more questions now.

I have watched all of those Godzilla franchise movies.

He's an English actor.

He's got Godzilla and Kong Supernova coming up.

He's going to do this new something called Ink where he's going to be playing Rupert Murdoch over on Netflix.

So his stock is definitely on the rise.

Then more recently, you've got that '98 American film, but we've also had five American films in what they're calling the Monsterverse.

A sixth one comes out next year, Godzilla x Kong: Supernova, which was shot in Australia.

And so this is then, I mean, there, there was, the third ever Japanese Godzilla movie was a King Kong, uh, versus Godzilla movie.

But you are then getting this kind of meeting of worlds, this meeting of Kong Skull, uh, Skull Island with its dinosaurs right back in nin- 1933 and this giant Japanese beast that's a response to what Japan went through in World War II, bringing them together now in American movies that have had their ups and downs but are generally good, and also have a really great TV offshoot as well with another one, uh, a spin-off from that to come.
