Until Dawn

No deal has been closed yet, but these things rarely leak unless somebody wants them to happen.

So what are your thoughts on this? Because Helldivers is the fourth in line of PlayStation productions by Uncharted, Gran Turismo, and Until Dawn, with Last of Us and Twisted Metal doing it on the TV side.

Does this make sense for Alan Richson to make this move to take Momoa's spot here in this franchise?

I mean, I guess it makes sense if you're not holding out for G.I. Joe or Call of Duty because it feels like this is kind of very similar.

In the sense of, you should be able to sniff out when a director slash whoever just wanted to put the name of this IP on the film and they want nothing to do with the franchise as a, as a, as a whole.

Like for instance, I love who did until dawn.

Well, that movie, if you watch it and ignore that it's based off of Until Dawn, it's fine.

But I could see, because I liked Until Dawn, the video game, and then when I heard that they were going to make the Until Dawn movie, I see the trailer and the concept.

It's an interesting concept, but it just feels like the concept was just the name with the Wendigo and some elements of...

the game but it wasn't the game like it wasn't the story but at the same time i wouldn't have want one of the movie to just be like a one-to-one to the game because i mean games kind of already live action because of the i mean the graphics aren't like amazing but it's very cinematic it's very cinematic so like just to do that again without you being able to make choices kind of wouldn't make sense right but i would have still liked the story about like the wendigos and like yeah like the cold like there wasn't even it was pretty much just I guess they turned Until Dawn into like an anthology

yeah that's a good way to put it an anthology put into one film like maybe if that was a TV series maybe that would have been better yeah maybe I don't know maybe um But yeah, no, I agree with you.

But as a fan of independent horror, I thank you because [laughs] you're helping this movie make money Um, our next story, Until Dawn, Nico, a movie that you and I saw and neither one of us hated.

it do be like that sometimes i guess You guys might know Belmont because he was in the Saved by the Bell reboot.

And then he was also in Based on a True Story, The Alto Nights, Until Dawn, and more.

Saved by the Bell was the only thing that really stood out to me, something that you guys might know.

He also has an interesting backstory.

And that 2025 twin is Until Dawn, which made almost the exact same domestic and worldwide, but only cost 15 million.

So did a little a little better.

Until Dawn also, for people unaware, is also a video game adaptation.

So that's a very good twin that you found.

Although a weird one because actually as a video game, Until Dawn is kind of an interactive movie in a way.

And so the idea of making a movie with, I guess, canonical choices for the movie that you're watching was a weird one.
