University Place

high school in Tacoma, Washington.

He will preview the John Payne Invitational, the Hoka John Payne Invitational, which will be at University Place in Washington.

And he'll go over the gold races, the faster races there.

Before we talk to Steve and talk to Matt, I would like to share some of the interviews I did at Nike Portland XC.

You know, I'm having you on to talk about the Hoka 30th John Payne Cross-Country Invitational.

It's at Chambers Creek University Park.

Is that right? University Place.

Near your home turf of Tacoma.

I have some groups that are going to start walking up here to the stage to share about their groups.

In University Place, in Fircrest, in Central Tacoma, in North Tacoma.

Can you see where I'm going with this? Kind of all over the region.

And today I want you to hear from a few of these life group leaders about their groups so we can share their experience.

The other three were arrested on Thursday.

18-year-old Valentin Tubanisik of Tacoma, 19-year-old Mark Amarichik of University Place, and 19-year-old Julian Mikatuyuk of Pacific.

Their last names are all very interesting.

I do wonder what the nationality is there.

Well, let's go there right now and let's watch.

This is, this is Street racers hit 107 miles per hour in University Place.

Dash cam gives deputies key evidence.

So this is a feel-good story, and let's watch the video.

Enough of me babbling.

roads become very dangerous when street racers decide to come to town.

This University Place deputy has seen it all and puts an end to this reckless behavior.

On September 8th, around 9.30 p.m., one of our University Place deputies was conducting a speed emphasis on Bridgeport Way West when he observed two vehicles pull alongside each other and then accelerate together at a high rate of speed.

And police have arrested three more people suspected of starting the deadly Chelan Hills wildfire.

They're 18- and 19-year-olds from Tacoma, University Place, and Pacific, and police already arrested an 18-year-old from Kent over the Chelan Hills fire.

Authorities claim they shot off fireworks from the back of a truck bed, sparking the 10,000-acre fire that killed a 69-year-old man.

Thank you.

I think you could say that.

Fir Crest is by University Place down there.

And-

The high school marching band that I believe won the Catch My Disease marching band contest, lo those many, many years ago.

I believe it, I think it was University Place that won.

Where we basically put it out to local high school marching bands, if you wanna learn the theme song to TBTL and play a version of it and record it, we will pick, or the listeners will pick they think the best one, and then, uh, we'll send out Blue Thunder, the Seahawks', uh, pep band.

And I think that might've been University Place, so.

Nice, nice.
