Michael's mother taught at Oklahoma City Community College and his father worked for Oklahoma City Public Schools.

He earned his bachelor's degree from Oklahoma State University and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma College of Law.

Led by his entrepreneurial spirit, he opened Michael Brooks Jimenez PC in South OKC 28 years ago.

Michael and his wife Jessica started their family in Southwest OKC.

Toro went from 53 full-time faculty to only 33.

And Oklahoma is out there looking for a $100 million donation in exchange for putting someone's name on the law school.

So the usual pattern is a shrinking faculty and a school hunting for money until it cannot afford to keep buying their medians anymore.

And some do close down.
