Okay, before we close, I have to talk about a really special personal moment from this past weekend.

Me making my play-by-play commentary debut for UCLA versus Michigan.

I was very grateful to get the call for UCLA's first National Collegiate Rugby game against Michigan.

If you're not familiar with their play, they usually... play in a winter competition in D1A rugby but they have now opted to go into the NCR competition and play in more of a fall aka autumn schedule if you don't know what fall means and it was an awesome opportunity it's something I've been excited about for a while I think if I look about What I loved as a kid, even though I loved sports stars and I loved narratives and I loved things like that, commentary was something that always sparked my interest.

It was always a passion that I wanted to go for and not sure why I didn't go for it in a more formal setting or study it more at university, but it's been something that I've been wanting to have a crack at for a long time, especially since starting this podcast as well.

You have to explain what is happening in a way that works for rugby diehards, but also for someone who might be watching college rugby for the first time.

And you have to bring energy without trying to make yourself the center of the broadcast.

UCLA versus Michigan gave us a proper game.
