Bozy graduated from Princeton with an AB in philosophy in 1958 after completing a senior thesis titled The Nature and Meaning of Religious Propositions.

He then received a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Maryland School of Law.

While at Princeton, he played lacrosse.

In 1980, he was inducted as a member of the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame.

Marshall was a victim of, but also a victor over, segregated education himself.

After graduating with honors from Lincoln University, he was unable to attend the University of Maryland Law School because he wasn't white.

Undeterred, he attended Howard University School of Law instead, which had become the first Black law school in the nation in 1869.

He graduated first in his class.

When I left Florida to go to the, uh, University of Maryland Law School, I was no longer farming.

I could say that really my farming as a youth ended when I went off to college, so to speak.

The farming happened in Tallahassee, Florida, in North Florida, and I grew up in the middle part of Florida.
