University of Arkansas – Fort Smith

And so the family that owns the company actually gifted it to the K-12 school system.

And in combination with the K-12 school system and the University of Arkansas Fort Smith, they have built this innovation center.

And so over a thousand students just recently have gone through the center and they are able to get, while they're still in high school, you know, health care credentials, HVAC, you all the skilled trades opportunities and graduating high school with real opportunities.

And some of those students are seeing because of the training and the innovation and tying it all to the regional workforce.

Matt and Derek will be at Moxie Sunday afternoon, some jazz in the afternoon from 4:00 until 6:00.

And then UAFS will be celebrating Oktubafest.

Uh, the fest itself, I think, goes on at 1:00.

Then the concert is Sunday night at 6:00 in the UAFS Campus Center.

Hopefully they have some tubas in that.

Well, I...

... at the Stubblefield Center.

We'll see the Lions of Arkansas Fort Smith the 27th, Sunday after Thanksgiving, uh, Tahlequah to see, uh, Northeastern State.

The good news is we don't have to go through the airports that weekend.

Yep.

Later.

Also, very much not Quiet Riot, the West Texas Flute and Percussion Duo will be in Breedlove Room 105 on the UAFS campus tonight at 7:00.

That is free.

Come on, Feel the Noise.
