University of Akron

Anything else outside of that, man, was just, I tell folks, it was kind of unheard of.

You know what I mean? You know, so once I got into football and, you know, my goals, ultimately was to go pro, you know, I went to college, I went to the University of Akron, graduated high school with the University of Akron, and, you know, played a little bit of ball, you know, but eventually, but I always had, did things, you know, on the side that was still creative.

But then that's when I decided to get myself involved in making comic books and i was like you know i can do this i was like i'm good at making up stories i'm good at making characters i can write you know people always say i'm a good storyteller and um and growing up and they think a lot of my friends used to call me preacher mike they used to call me preacher mike because i always had a story behind everything and it was always something that um i always felt that i needed to be motivating or

anything like

Dropped out of college.

Going to University of Akron for two and a half years.

Dropped out of there.

Broke up with my girlfriend.

I'm not doing it.

So I saved them one hell of a lot of money because I went to the University of Akron and commuted home and I thought that was a benefit.

But that's what a contrarian gets for not really understanding.

But I was ready.

I was going through orientation.

I was ready to go into engineering.

And at orientation at the University of Akron, I discovered they had a class or a degree called construction engineering.

And it was half of an engineering degree.

Yeah, I mean, this is a guy, like you said, if he's from Utah, supported, grew up with them his whole life, too.

I mean, there's teams I grew up around the Akron, University of Akron football program.

So not like I know a ton about winning with Akron, but like I was super fired up for the whole offensive coordinator thing and things of that nature.

I mean, if Utah played at Akron, I don't think at this point I'd wear Akron.

Normally we bring you one and, like, just, you know, scratch that itch.

What region, what style of play do you think is conducive to an Akron kind of expectation, and or this is really where U.S. soccer should be going? Well, let

me jump in, too, because I also frame it this way, too, because if you're Akron University in the state of Ohio, you've got to get Ohio right first just from a financial aspect for your program, correct? Yeah.

I mean, you want to try to get all the best players in Ohio first, correct?
