University Christian School

And then in Stark, number seven, Bradford held on for a 27-24 win.

So very close over University Christian in a thriller that went down to a final field goal attempt.

So the undefeated area teams, Reigns, Columbia, St. Augustine, Episcopal, and Bradford.

So shout out to all of them, either 8-0 or 9-0.

It absolutely is, and that's another one of those teams that has had a couple of losses here that, that you wouldn't exactly feel the best about, but either way, they have kept fighting, they have stayed in it in just about every game they've played all year, and Coach McIntyre has done such a good job over there at Creekside.

We're gonna have David Penland of University Christian on at some point.

Can you imagine the bus ride they're having right now coming back from Bradford in the Stark area? 20-13, UC knocks off the previously unbeaten Bradford County Tornadoes.

What a win for University Christian.

UC is putting together a really nice season as well, and being in the same district as Trinity Christian is, puts them in, in a tough spot to walk away with the wins, the same spot where Bishop Kenny is with Rain, so to speak.

But University Christian, still one of the best teams in the entire city, and a massive, massive win here tonight.

We had one game under the Thursday Night Lights this week.

It was Episcopal getting a win over Eagles View one night ago.

Okay.

I was down in Jacksonville first at University Christian School in Jacksonville.

I was down there for five years.

And then when I was offered the head baseball job, my wife and I moved up here in 2016.

A lot of games last night.

University Christian, a big win over Williston last night.

Creekside over Atlantic Coast.

Probably the game of the night was Bartram Trail coming back to beat Beachside.

That field can get underwater very quickly, so I figured, oh, that's going to be one of the games we play a day ahead, and I was very surprised when they kept it on Friday, and then, sure enough, a few hours before kickoff, they're moving it until Monday, so...

I was a bit surprised they didn't move that game ahead, but either way, I'm glad those guys and the coaches over there are not going to have to deal with, I'm sure, a field that is completely underwater right now at BK.

David Penwin of University Christian coming up.

Also, Justin Sermon of Christ Church Academy coming up.

And don't forget, tonight we've got Blitz Breakdown on the TV channel at 8 o'clock, live from Sneaker Sports Grill with Noah Chandler and Brody.

University Christian will be our guest tonight out there in Jax Beach.

Let's get one more.

Coach, and I told Jared before the show started, if we did nothing else tonight, if University Christian won, I was getting David Penland on because it has come to my attention that I have not talked to Penland so far yet this year.

So this will be an emotional moment for me.

David Penland, we've done this show for 20 years.

No question about it.

We'll get Coach back on in a moment as we hit the 11 o'clock hour.

University Christian, a winner tonight.

You look at UC.

... that's, uh, that's coming up here.

And then finally, Florida High at University Christian.

Florida High is also undefeated at 6 and 0.

UC is 4 and 2 on the season.

But I'm in my 11th year at Fellowship Christian School in Roswell, Georgia.

Before that, I was an assistant down at University Christian in Jacksonville.

My wife and I moved up here in 2016, and we've been loving it ever since.

We're glad to have you back on, Coach.
