United Arab Emirates national cricket team

But, you know, following this year's main tournament and then this time next year, you know, let's hope that we're lifting that trophy after a third consecutive final.

What does the quality of the tournament say about the state of UAE cricket, do you think? And would there be scope for the inclusion of three rather than two UAE players in a starting XI in the DP world, ILT20?

Yeah, I mean, I had a very, very quick chat with interim CEO Mike Fordham after the game.

It was very complimentary of the Vipers, of our performance throughout, and obviously of our performance in the final.

There is no doubt that it's the best standard of cricket that is played in the UAE at that level throughout the year.

It's way, way in advance of any of the other tournaments, in my opinion.

And it shows that UAE cricket is in a good position.

And on top of that, not only are there current... for internationals who are doing well both domestically in the franchise leagues and, of course, for the UAE.
