Union Pool

Well, first of all, we were going to have dinner at Kellogg Diner, where you and I met that one time.

And then afterwards, we were going to see a guy named Liam Kazar play at Union Pool, which is a great music venue slash bar.

So normally you would take the L train like two, three stops and it would be an easy thing.

Everybody

But like, I was like, throwing house shows on my back deck in Williamsburg and like, you know, playing, playing bars and, and this was not working.

And, and I was like, you know what? Like, I guess I was working at Union Pool too.

And I just, I think I had all these things rubbing off on me.

And I was like, I want to start a rock band, you know, here I am this like weird little Brooklyn kid.

It's so intuitive of like, yeah, kind of leading you to where you're supposed to go.

And it like clearly the creative, like, drive that you had, or, like, what you were, like, craving for, like, led you to a really, like, good path, and it seems to be, like, working really well, so that must be really affirming to have that experience.

Also, I live in Williamsburg, so, like, Union Pool is, like, down the street from me, which is awesome, so.

Oh, hell yeah.

And I'm going to be playing in New York November 21st at the Union Pool in Brooklyn, which is an awesome club.

Yes, I have been there myself before.

Really cool club, yeah.

And then when he's performing, he's just like really going for it.

When, uh, when I saw him play this album, uh, at Union Pool a couple months ago, he was, he, he like real- he's like kind of like really dodging around the stage and stuff while he's playing, um, when he's not singing.

Um, and he accidentally tripped and fell backwards over the same amp twice.
